The Japanese White Pine Bonsai(Pinus parviflora) is a highly revered evergreen conifer, treasured for its soft, five-needle foliage, beautiful bark, and the classic, aged elegance it brings to a collection. While physically hardy, the detailed, specialised techniques required for energy balancing (candle pinching/pruning) and its sensitivity to overwatering and poor drainage make it a species of intermediate to advanced difficulty.
