Indoor Bonsai
Fukien Tea Tree (Carmona retusa) bonsai thrives in warm, tropical conditions, making it an excellent indoor bonsai. It requires bright, consistent light, ideally from a south or west-facing window, and must be protected from temperatures below 15∘C. Watering is critical: keep the soil consistently moist but never soggy, watering thoroughly when the top layer feels slightly dry, and increasing humidity with a humidity tray or regular misting is highly beneficial. Fertilise with a balanced bonsai food every 2-4 weeks during the active growing season to support its health, its glossy green leaves, and its delicate white flowers.
