Berberis, or Barberry, in development as a bonsai. Excellent choice for bonsai due to its naturally small leaves, colourful foliage, and tendency to back-bud easily. Focus on using the "clip-and-grow" method to establish branch structure, as its wood can be brittle for wiring, and ensure it receives full sun to partial shade for the best autumn colour.
